The number of Executive Board Members for all Locals is determined by Article XIV of the TWU International Constitution. Based on the number of members in good standing, Local 579 is entitled to four Officers (President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, and Financial Secretary-Treasurer) and seven Executive Board Members. In order to allow for an equitable representation for the membership as a whole, one elected Executive Board Member is being elected from each Base and the remaining Executive Board Member will be elected at large.
