Your TWU Local 579 Grievance Committee has been diligently processing the numerous contract violations that have been submitted as a result of the ongoing IROP.
One theme we continue to see is extended wait times for a hotel. We want to highlight pertinent CBA language regarding these extensive wait times: 26.A.11 - 26.A.13.
There are action items contained in this language, so please follow the steps outlined in these articles. Regarding 26.A.13: to receive the compensation described, please use the Pledges form on your Company-issued iPad. While the Union disagrees with flight attendants having to use this form to chase our money, this is the current method.
Please continue to fill out the contract violation form anytime you feel our CBA has been violated so that the Grievance Committee can investigate. You are the eyes and ears out on the line, and we appreciate you keeping our Union informed!
